We at Carmel Transport take pride in our ability to offer flexible, comprehensive and cost-effective solutions for large volume of import containers. Once you place an order for a shipment or multiple shipments, our Imports team will work around the clock if necessary to keep track of all of your containers while those are en route by rail, notify you about the shipments’ status, and ensure that your goods are safely delivered to your or your customer’s warehouse.

Export

All of your export container shipments will be well taken care of if you come to Carmel. Our experienced team of transportation professionals will work with you directly to ensure that your container shipping needs are met in the most comprehensive and cost-effective manner; we will also take care of your reservations at CN and rail billing at CP.

Refrigerated Containers

Carmel Transport offers a complete solution for storage and transportation of refrigerated containers. Our drivers are trained in transportation of refrigerated goods, we have a significant number of the Genset chassis, and through our partners at Carterm Intermodal Logistics Inc, we can also offer a storage solution for refrigerated containers. The storage facility is equipped to handle up to 30 refrigerated containers at any given time.

In- Bond Containers

Carmel Transport International Ltd. is a Canada Customs and Excise Bonded Carrier and we offer the full range of transportation services for bonded shipments.

Storage Facility

We offer a complete container storage solution for dry-box, refrigerated and in-bond containers of all sizes. This solution is offered in partnership with Carterm Intermodal Logistics Inc, which is strategically located in Mississauga, Ontario within short driving distance from Coyote and CN container yards. By utilizing Carterm storage facility our customers are able to save substantial amounts of money on storage fees for their import containers.

The Carterm facility is fully fenced and monitored 24/7 by a security guard and video surveillance, which, combined with Carterm’s comprehensive insurance policy, offers our customers complete peace of mind and security against one of the fastest growing crimes – cargo theft.
