Carmel Transport International Ltd. has its own in house safety and compliance department to ensure the integrity of our drivers and all of our equipment. Our drivers are put through a stringent hiring process and become an integral part of Carmel's commitment to continuous improvement, achieved through mandatory training programs and regular meetings dedicated to safety of operations and compliance with legal requirements. All of our equipment (tractors & chassis) are included in our Preventative Maintenance program to ensure that there are no costly breakdowns that could possibly result in customer dissatisfaction. We are also very conscious about the fact that any equipment is operated by people; hence, all of our drivers have been put through the courses on air brake adjustment, defensive driving and transportation of dangerous goods among others.
